Robinho goes Man City



Manchester City pulled the highest British transfer record when they acquired Robinho from Real Madrid under Chelsea nose. The transfer fee was around 61 million euros. It would be nice to see Robinho trickery alongside Jo and compatriot Elano Blummer this season at Man City.

Dimitar Berbatov finally sealed his long awaited transfer to Manchester United with Fraizer Campbell goes to Tottenham Hotspurs. The fee is believed around 32.5 million pound. Spurs also snatched Vedran Corluka and Roman Pavlyuchenko from Man City and Spartak Moscow respectively.

Liverpool got his right winger in form of Albert Riera from Espanyol and seeing Andriy Voronin and Steve Finnan moved to Espanyol. Newcastle got a striker Xisco, a second player arrived from Deportivo La Coruna.
