Last year Estranged bagged the prestigious AJL award and this year is Meet Uncle Hussain turn to be crowned as a Juara Lagu 2008 with killer song Lagu Untuk Mu.
In their acceptance speech, Lan thanked everyone who have supported the indie music movement in the country. "This is a big recognition for our years of hard work. And an honour to all the independent bands in Malaysia." The band won $25,000 cash prize and a trophy for Best Song, plus another $12,000 for clinching the championship in the Pop/Rock category.
